Introduction to SGVU - Biotechnology Business Incubator (BBI)

SGVU Biotechnology Business Incubator was setup in collaboration with Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt of Rajasthan and Suresh Gyan Vihar University Jaipur to foster innovation, research and entrepreneurial activities in Biotechnology ,Agriculture and Pharmaceutical technology related areas.
Established in 2018 with the vision of transforming knowledge into wealth, the centre has a twofold vision:
• To create a generation of zealous entrepreneurs.
• To convert novel research into valuable intellectual property.

​​​It was established under the umbrella of Trust - SGVU –Ecosystem for Innovations and Entrepreneurship Trust
It is a project undertaken to develop state of art Biotechnology laboratory, Consultancy wing and training facility for various disciplines in Biotechnology, Agriculture, Food processing and Pharmaceutical sciences to boost commercialization through incubation.

Thrust Areas -The center will be promoting start-ups and entrepreneurship in the production of Biotechnology, Agro biotech, Nano-biotechnology, Fermentation technology, phyto- pharmaceuticals, Renewable energy and Social Entrepreneurship.

The Center will also offer various industries oriented Biotechnology based Research Training Courses.

Individual incubation space will be allotted to eligible enterprising units. Other required infrastructure and facilities are provided on rent/ 5% equity basis.
