Minimum Qualification for Admission

10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology with at least 60% marks (5% relaxation in case of SC/ST category) in PCM.


First Year B. Tech Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government as Central Board of Technical Education or State Board like Rajasthan Board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as mandatory subjects with 60%. Any other qualification approved by the AICTE as equivalent to any of the above examinations.


B. Tech. Lateral Entry (to third semester)

A pass in Diploma in ECE/EE/CSE Course from an Institution approved by the AICTE/UGC with at least 60% marks can take admission in the third semester of Electrical Engineering.

Duration

The course of B.Tech is extended in a total duration of 2 years is divided into 4 semesters. In all 4 semesters students will be engaged in theory classes, practical classes, industrial visits, presentations, personality development etc. After 4 th and 6 th semester students will undergo a training of around 45 days for having hands on training and research experience in various engineering fields like manufacturing, thermal power plants etc. In 7th semester students will undergo major project which will provide experience of Industry working technologies and models.

The Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur is a renowned University, established by an Act of State Legislature in the State of Rajasthan by the Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur Act, 2008 (Act No. 16 of 2008).
