Passed Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)/tenth standard/equivalent examination, with at least 50% in Science and Maths subjects. (5% relaxation in case of SC/ST category)
First Year Diploma Engineering Candidate shall have passed 10th examinations conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized. Any other qualification approved by the AICTE as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
Lateral Entry (to third semester):
Candidate has passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M.) and or Biology (P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects are individual.
The course of Diploma in Engineering is extended in a total duration of 3 years is divided into 6 semesters. In all 6 semesters students will be engaged in theory classes, practical classes, industrial visits, presentations, personality development etc. After 4th semester students will undergo a training of around 45 days for having hands on training and research experience in various engineering fields. In 6th semester students will undergo major project which will provide experience of Industry working technologies and models.
