10+2 examination with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology) OR 10+2 with Agriculture with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation in case of SC/ST category)

First Year B.Sc. (Hons.): Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities or recognized equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M.) and/or Biology (P.C.B. /P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

The course of B. Sc Agriculture (Hons. ) is having a duration of 4 years which is divided into 8 semesters. In all 8 semesters, students will be going through theory classes, practical classes, industrial and field visits, presentations, personality development etc. After 6th-semester students will undergo a RAWE programme (Research Agriculture Work Experience ). In 7th semester students will undergo training in various Krishi Vigyan Kendra which will provide experience on various techniques of Agriculture Farming.
