About Virtual Labs
Virtual Labs is an initiative under the National Mission on Education through ICT
(NMEICT),
coordinated by IIT Delhi with a consortium of premier institutes. It
provides
anytime, anywhere access to simulation-based experiments across disciplines in
science and engineering.

With reference to SGVU’s Expression of Interest (EOI) submitted on 11 July 2025,
the Institute is
designated as a Nodal Center for Virtual Labs. Dr. Amit Tiwari is
accepted as the
Institute Nodal Coordinator (INC). This approval is valid up to 31 December
2025,
subject to Terms & Conditions and subsequent directives issued by the MoE from time to time.

Terms & Conditions
Approved status of AICTE/STEB/UGC is mandatory for the Institute.
The Institute should have a valid AISHE and AICTE Code or
UGC Approval Number.
Maintain necessary infrastructure at Institute’s cost: PCs with ≥ 1 Mbps
broadband connectivity.
No additional/extra fee shall be charged to students for using Virtual Labs.
Nodal Centers will receive operational and technical support.
Submit the Monthly Virtual Labs Usage Report.
Strictly follow standard lab procedures and cyber security laws.
Any violation will automatically cancel the Nodal Center status without notice.

learning resources.
Infra-Light
Complements existing labs; ideal where specialized equipment or trained
instructors are limited.
Collaboration
Enables collaboration across institutions; enriches teaching with videos,
simulations, and assessments.

The Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur is a renowned University, established by an Act of State Legislature in the State of Rajasthan by the Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur Act, 2008 (Act No. 16 of 2008). The University is ranked by NIRF-2024 in the Rank-Band of 101-150 with the School of Pharmacy at 49th rank, and also university appeared in the overall rank band for the first time in the rank band 151-200. It is due to the consistent effort of ensuring quality and ethics in our delivery that the SGVU has been granted an "A+" grade accreditation by NAAC, achieving a score of 3.32 out of 4. Furthermore, the university's agriculture program and college have received accreditation from ICAR for five years.
