GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is one of the most reputed examinations in India opening so many opportunities for candidates to grow their careers. The GATE is an all-India entrance examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidate in various UG subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and PG subjects in science. This year the Geomatics engineering subject was first introduced in the GATE examinations. Two students of Suresh Gyan Vihar University recently qualified for the GATE 2022 examinations. It is a remarkable achievement by the SGVUians to secure all India rank (AIR) with 203 and 504.
After graduation, scholars need to pursue needed post graduation in ensure that they are able to stay on top of the competitive workspace. Clearing the GATE exam with a good score gives one an edge and increases one's credibility in the eyes of niche universities, and higher education institutes, and builds the needed foundation for ones’ next chapter of growth in life. As you clear the GATE exam, you are in the position to enter some of the leading colleges and universities in the country and abroad as per your preference and this is the big step in making your dreams happen. Once you have done your M.Tech or ME with a well-renowned institute, many PSU (Public Sector Undertakings), private companies, and corporate (s) seek such candidates v/s you seeking them.

GATE exam is greatly pursued by engineering students and the addition of Geomatics subject in 2022 is great news. The exam pattern has two major sections - General Aptitude and Core Subject (Part A and Part B). Part A is mandatory whereas, in Part B, the student has the option to choose their subject. With C3WR students opting for Geomatics Engineering ( GE) as their primary subject, they have the option to either go for Geology, Environmental Science & Engineering (ES), civil engineering (CE), or Geophysics (GG), or mining engineering (MN) as their second paper. GATE Geomatics Engineering (GE) Syllabus 2022 included Remote Sensing, GNSS, GIS, Maps, Land Surveying, Digital Image Processing, and other topics from the college UG level. It is important to clear the concepts, and not leave out any important topic. Due to a lack of previous year’s papers etc, it is best to rely on your mentors and teachers to assist you in preparing for the GATE exam.
