Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU). The MoU was signed by Dr. Sudhanshu Sharma, Chief Mentor, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, and Dr. J. S. Sandhu, Vice Chancellor, Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner on 25.02.2021. The two universities joined hands with the common objective of understanding the need for research and education in sustainable agriculture with due emphasis on environment protection and energy minimization.
" Under the MoU, both universities agree to collaborate and mutually support advancement in quality agri-education, mutually help boost research in agricultural science, promote advanced agro-biotechnology, facilitate powerful student exchange programs, integrate faculty exchange program and submit joint research proposals upon mutual agreement between both the institutions."
Both Universities agree to collaborate in the following activities:
- Jointly ensuring advancement in quality agri-education.
- Mutually help boost research in the field of agricultural science.
- SGVU has a highly sophisticated Hydroponics lab and under this MoU, SGVU will extend support to SKNAU for setting up hydroponics lab.
- Suresh Gyan Vihar University will welcome scientists from SKNAU to visit the SGVU facility for educational and research purposes.
- Facilitate powerful student exchange in joint research disciplines.
- Mutually share educational expertise to promote advanced agro-biotechnology.
- Promote collaboration between faculties of both the universities, joint supervision for the student exchange programs, and sharing research facilities available at both the Institutions.
- Submit joint research proposals to sponsoring agencies on a fund-sharing basis upon mutual agreement between both the universities.
