Sayeed Akhtar Nawa, Nidan, as a Program Co-ordinator

A Facilitator for Empowerment of the poor and marginalized sector, Sayeed works intensively with the workers belonging to unorganized sector residing in hamlets of Patna. These are the backbone of India’s economy and are subject to deplorable working conditions from under or non-payment of wages to serious violation of fundamental rights be it physical or verbal. Such vulnerability of these people touched and compelled Sayeed to work for them. Prior to working with Nidan he worked as Supervisor at L&T in Gujarat in 2015-16.

Sayeed a bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from SGVU in 2015 belongs to an agricultural family. He has been awarded by NABARD in the year 2019 for performing fast completion of financial inclusion project on rural women in which he worked in Tekari Block (Belaganj) covering more than 200 villages.

He excels at group discussions and organization of social activities. Sayeed moves forward in life with explicit thought in his mind to have self-paced endurance for active social facilitation to the people in need, which augments his performance and motivation in the field of his career.
