When Ms. Maurya entered Suresh Gyan Vihar University, the environment was completely different. She struggled for a little while with being acquainted to the new environment, in hindsight; she is as thankful to her parents as they “did their research” and allowed her to gain the experience she did while she was a student at SGVU.
She believes it is not just on the shoulders of SGVU to build that foundation—it has to start with the students themselves. As much as the faculty has invested in us, we have to invest into the same she said. She believes that life has a proven path of success if you are willing to put in the work and time. Ms. Maurya joined The Milimax HealthCare, where she believes, work ethic is leaps and bounds. Furthermore, she said that she finally realized just how much the challenges she faced during her college days, it had shaped her and prepared her well.
Summer and winter internship experience did a really incredible job of allowing her to implement her theoretical knowledge into the practical one. Today she is a Human Resource Associate at Infosys and says she is very much enjoying her career path. Her favorite aspect of the job includes interacting and meeting with new people and seeing that effort pays off.
Maurya continues to climb the corporate ladder and aim high in her professional endeavors. However, anyone who speaks with Maurya would agree that she is confident and poised for future success. With her mentors support and guidance, she secured the skills to be successful at Infosys BPM.
Her mantra for life is “Yes, it takes hard work to let go and refocus your life, but it’s worth every bit of effort you can muster”.
