Mr. Maninder Singh – Marine engineer – Thome Group

Mr Maninder Singh, wanted to be a Marine Engineer as he had always a great interest in engineering and this interest was developed by doing practical in the laboratories. When he joined Suresh Gyan Vihar University, he came to know that this is the place where he can enhance his practical knowledge as well as the skills which are required to attain his dream goal. However, the way was not so easy; it was full of thorns and stones, continuous guidance with the faculties of SGVU worked as a medicine for him and made his path easy.

After being a Marine Engineer in the Thome Group Private Limited, he got to work as a part of a team and take on responsibilities, even as a cadet. Being a student, SGVU has provided him with support throughout his engineering and has allowed him to gather a wide range of practical experiences and skills on a variety of different vessels. He learned so much from these practical experiences and skills that no obstacle is coming in his way and these skills and experience is working as cherry on the cake.

Mantra for his life is “Satisfaction is not always the fulfillment of what you want; it is the realization of how blessed you are for what you have”.
