Major Karan Jeet Singh, Flight Lieutenant, Indian Army

Karan Jeet Singh

Major Karan joined SGVU in the year 2009 in B.Tech Electrical Engineering. Major Karan was an all-rounder when it came to studies and co-curricular activities. He was good at sports and he loved utilising his free time at the University’s library.


After completing his degree in 2013, he started preparing himself for the Indian Army, where he went through rigorous physical training while studying for his competitive exam. In the year 2015, he was selected as a Lieutenant in Indian Army.


Remembering the days back then, he says, “Everything has changed with time. I have evolved as a personality with confidence, determination”. He strongly believes that “Hard work and determination to achieve a certain goal is very important for a person to identify.”
