Rather than following a given path, Bhupinder Singh is more apt to create his own. That is how he has always lived his life and it is one of the reasons he has found professional success in the Videography field and a love and passion for his craft. Mr. Bhupinder is a Video Editor of photography for the Big Basket, Bangalore. Mostly involved with commercials, he has the unique opportunity to be on both the production and post-production sides of the business. He says his job is to deliver stunning images, stories, and human moments that make the company and the client happy.
Bhupinder, got enrolled in Suresh Gyan Vihar University in B.Tech in Computer Science, with good academics though not so familiar with core knowledge of computer languages. Gradually he started looking for opportunities while studying Video creator in film industry. Though Bhupinder said much of his drive and persistence came from his parents but he also admitted that faculty’s guidance plays a vital role in his life, it was his time at SGVU that reaffirmed those characteristics and has continued to contribute to his success.
He also says that, university has helped him feel confident which motivated him. He was placed in a Big Basket private limited company in one of the campus drive by the Training and Placement Cell. Mr. Bhupinder took a leap of faith and drove to Bangalore to start his career in the Big basket company as a Video Editor. As a young video editor enthusiast, he said, “If I’m really muddy, sweating, and sore when I get to where I’m shooting, then that’s when I feel like I’m actually doing something. I throw my passion into any product and love the feeling of working hard. Mantra for his life is “You cannot expect victory while planning for defeat”
