From Suresh Gyan Vihar University to leading research in Australia, His journey is a true inspiration! He began his academic path with a B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from SGVU, where he built a strong foundation in structural analysis and transportation engineering. Fueled by a passion for innovation, he pursued his Master’s in Civil Engineering (2018–2020) at Central Queensland University, developing expertise in infrastructure design, sustainable systems, and global engineering practices.
Taking his academic excellence forward, Amrit is currently completing his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (2020–2025) at Deakin University, focusing on Traffic Safety. His research delves into data-driven road safety, mobility patterns, and smart urban infrastructure. As a Postgraduate Researcher, and now an Associate Research Fellow (May 2025), he is working on real-time traffic data and developing practical mobility solutions — bridging research and policy for real-world impact.
Amrit is also actively involved in publishing, collaborating with policymakers, and driving change in the transportation sector. Certified in STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD 2D, his technical skills amplify his research with robust design and analysis expertise. from Indian classrooms to Australian research labs, Amrit's journey is a testament to continuous learning, global vision, and specialization in high-impact areas like traffic safety.

"SGVU gave me the foundation to think globally and act practically. To all new students — focus on skills, stay curious, and start preparing for placements from day one. Your journey starts here!" Currently based in Victoria, Australia, he continues to contribute to smart and sustainable transportation solutions. We’re proud to see our alumnus shaping the future of civil engineering. Congratulations, Amrit!
