Aayam 22, the Tech Fest of Suresh Gyan Vihar University was inaugurated by Hon’ble President Prof. P Prakash Sir and Dr. Ritu Gilhotra Pro President ma’am, Sh. Madhusudan Sharma Registrar, SGVU and Dr. Om Prakash Sharma Principal GVSET and all the faculties and students of GVSET on 8th March 2022 at 10.30 am. The program started after taking blessings from the temple of Lord Radha Krishna. The annual science and technology festival of Suresh Gyan Vihar University that started in 2001 has come a long way and this year we had an array of intriguing and excellent competitions, project exhibitions, constraint based events, Sybernatics and On-spot Events and mesmerizing Cultural night.
PROJECT EXHIBITION
Project exhibition under AAYAM 2K22 was held on 09/03/2022 from 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM near Jantar Mantar, SGVU Campus. A total of 29 teams participated in this event from different colleges and universities. Students represented their innovative ideas through posters and models. For evaluation purposes, two experts had been invited by the research department Dr. Mukesh Gupta and Dr. Sandhya Sharma first year engineering department. All the projects exhibited were best at their place; the top 03 projects were ranked by the expert team. Dr. M.K.Banerjee, Chair Professor of Research Cell SGVU had also visited the exhibition. He appreciated the work of the students and gave them valuable suggestions regarding the projects. The winning team was from Arya College Old Campus Jaipur and the runner-up team was from SGVU Campus.
Robo Race:
In this event, robots were made to cross many hurdles and complete the race in minimum time. In total 08 teams had participated in this event (each team consisting of 3-4 students). The team which crossed all the hurdles in minimum time with maximum points and efficiency was announced as the winner. The winner's team was from SGVU, Jaipur, the event was held on 08th March 2022 from 1:30 PM- 4:30 PM.
Line Follower:
In this event, the compact infrared light robot was made to move on white strips on blackboards using a detector. There were 5 checkpoints on the LFR track from which a team could skip a maximum of 2 checkpoints. The team which completed the track in the minimum time with maximum points was announced as the winner. The 'winner' team was from SGVU University and the runner-up team was from Arya College Old Campus Jaipur. This event was held on 09th March 2022 from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM.
Robowar:
This event was held on 9th March, 2022. In this event, two teams competed among themselves. In total 07 teams had participated in this event (each team consisting of 3-4 students). The robot is a sport in which two robots attempt to push each other out of a circle. This event with three rounds attracted a huge audience. During the event, many robots got destroyed. This event was held on 09th March 2022 from 2:30 PM -4:30 PM.
Bridge-O-Mania:
AAYAM 2K22 organized the most popular event of civil engineering "Bridge-O-Mania". This intra college event mainly measures the innovation and designing skills of students. Participants have to design a new and strongest design to win the blockbuster event. Design a Bridge using Popsicle sticks (ice-cream sticks) satisfying the stated constraints total of 12 teams had participated in this event, this event was held on 08th March 2022 from 10:30 AM- 1:30 PM. The winner bridge was able to handle 5 kg weight
Brain Games
Brain Games in AAYAM 2K22 was organized on 09/03/2022 in Engineering Conference Hall EC Block, SGVU Campus. Students showed their interest very highly appreciated, this event was held on 09th March 2022 at 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM. A total of 08 teams had participated in this event. Total participation was 20 students.
Poster and PPT Presentation
AAYAM 2K22 has organized this event on 08/03/2022 at 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM in Engineering Conference Hall EC Block, SGVU Campus. A total of 06 teams participated in this event. They had represented their innovative ideas through posters and PPT presentation
LAN GAME (Counter-Strike) and (NFS)
AAYAM 2K22 has organized this event on 08/03/2022 at 1:30 PM -3:30 PM in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SGVU Campus, in total 40 students had participated in this event.
