Industrial Oriented Projects

Mechanical Department emphasizes on involvement of students in industry oriented research projects as a part of the academic curriculum. The students are required to carry out lab projects in each semester, Mini Project in 6thSem & Major Projects in 7thSem during 4 year duration of B.Tech (ME) program for the purpose to get hands-on training on what they learn in theory subjects. Students deal projects with innovative idea & apply engineering theory concepts. They learn how to work in a team and extend the experience to new domains. They are eager to try, experiment and learn from their failures.

This has resulted in good outcomes in the form of “innovative projects” and “research papers” by our students. The innovative work of our students has been published as research papers in various reputed International journals and conference proceedings across the globe.

Mechanical Department organize project exhibition yearly and motivate students to participate in Technical Project fests for the purpose to give platform to students to showcase their innovative ideas, creativity and hard work to industrialists, academicians, alumni, junior & senior colleagues. Mechanical Students displayed number of Projects like Desiccant Wheel Dehumidifier, Design and Fabrication of Hand Operated Brake, Clutch, Accelerator in Four Wheeler, Air Conditioning in Car Using Exhaust Energy, Pedal Operated Water Purifier, Abrasive Jet Machine, Pneumatic Punching Machine, Spot Welding Machine, Acoustic Refrigeration Cooling System etc.
