The SGVU Diploma in Engineering and Technology was started in the year 2014. This department is dedicated to the advancement, propagation and exploitation of knowledge in the field of engineering and technology. The department is having the latest art of advanced equipment in every laboratory. Diploma candidates get quick and better job opportunities in industries, as their course is more skill oriented and practical based. The vision of the department is to satisfy the needs of the industry and research organizations by producing informative and committed engineers. This is achieved by imparting in depth theoretical knowledge during the lectures followed by hands-on research in state-of-the-art laboratories.
Diploma offers more practical sessions than theory which aids to improve the competency levels of students. Students will become junior engineers in the industries associated with Engineering and can also start their own new firms. They will be able to communicate proficiently and collaborate successfully with peers, colleagues and organizations.
