Aayam Tech Fest

Introduction

AAYAM was started in 2001 with the aim of providing a platform for the Indian as well as International student community to develop and showcase their technical skills.

AAYAM is the annual science and technology festival of Suresh Gyan Vihar University.

AAYAM is known for hosting a variety of events that include competitions, exhibitions, lectures as well as workshops.

Our international tech fest AAYAM 2022 that has gave students opportunity to develop their thinking and analytical skills and taking part in constraint based event such as Project Expo, Sybernatics (robotics, robowar, aqua drag, line follower, robo-race), Cybercrust(Web Designer, Software Debugging, LAN Gaming and Technical Quiz), workshops (Website design, Auto fest, Poster Air show), On-spot Events(Treasure Hunt, Gully Cricket, Technical Mehndi and Rangoli Competitions). as well a Regional and International Cultural Nights.

Objective

Aayam is not only a tech fest. It's a platform for students to display their talents. While all of us are studying the theory of engineering, we seldom get an opportunity to work on applications. Without working on the applications of engineering, the field will seem dry and meaningless. Aayam helps students showcase their talents and helps them to think. Aayam has multiple events, workshops and guest lectures for students to participate in, and learn from.

List of Events

1. ROBOWAR: Consist of two levels, the Beginner and the Advanced. Beginner with 40 kg and No AC supply while Advanced was enhanced with AC supply.
2. Aqua Drag: The water diving based Robot event in Robot has to dive for cross the hurdles and timing and the machine constraints.
3. Line follower: This is one of the most popular Robotics events in which the robots follow the line marked previously by sensor.
4. Robo-Race: One of the eminent Robo show consisted 2 levels.
5. Project Expo : The aim of the Project Expo was to showcase the research and innovations of the participants.
6. Auto fest: It showcased the adventures through remodeled vehicles, sport bikes. There were some breath taking stunts and wheels with modified cars and bikes. Students displayed their intelligence through advanced experiments in automobiles through their projects
7. Poster presentation: students from various schools and colleges portrayed their creativity and delivered their innovative ideas to save our nature. Go green was the theme of this competition.
8. Rangoli competition: it was a two day competition in which students made fine depiction of beautifully made artifacts expressing their ideas through colous.the winner was from Maharashtra
9. Night shows: During the 3 days of AAYAM’22,nights were enlightened with the cultural event.
