Online IPR Awareness Program Conducted Under the Aegis of Research Department, SGVU

An Online IPR Awareness Program was conducted on 10th February 2022 under the aegis of Research Department, SGVU for creating awareness towards Patents, Copyrights & Trademarks etc. amongst Faculty Members, Research Scholars as well as UG and PG Students of SGVU by Dr. Rajesh Kumar Meena, and Ms. Tripti Pandey from Office of Controller General of Patents, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.

The Program created great awareness amongst the attendees about the subject matter, providing a great learning opportunity to Faculties & Students alike. Focused areas of the awareness program were Patents, Copyright, trademark importance, key differences between the three, fee/cost and registration process and a plethora of other aspects as well. Queries were resolved in the Q & A Session that followed the main discourse.

The Online Session was attended by Hon'ble Chief Mentor Sir, Hon'ble Pro President Ma'am, Hon'ble Chairperson - Research Dr. (Prof.) M.K. Banerjee, Deans,Principals & HoDs of all Departments in person and all Faculties, Research Scholars and other Students through Online Mode. The Session was very well received and was attended by over 400 participants. The Seminar was moderated by Director, Research Projects, SGVU, Mr. Daljinder Singh Malik.
