Inauguration of New IQAC Office

SGVU firmly believes in quality initiatives, their maintenance and sustenance followed by target based monitoring for an effective and modern educational system. Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at SGVU, strives continuously to maintain the standards and outcomes against national and international thresholds.

To further strengthen these efforts towards achieving excellence in academics and research, the new IQAC office was inaugurated on 8th January, 2024 (Monday) by the Hon'ble Chairman Shri Sunil Sharma ji and Hon'ble Chief Mentor Dr. Sudhanshu ji along with the other dignitaries including Hon'ble President Prof. A. Haldar and Hon'ble Pro-President Prof. Ritu M. Gilhotra. During the inaugural ceremony, Director IQAC Professor Ankur Jain and all the IQAC team members extended a hearty welcome to all the respected guests at the venue with chocolate-flower bouquets.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Director SGVU Mr. Kanishk Sharma, Director HR Dr. A. K. Pandey, Director Distance Education Prof. Yogesh Sharma, Controller of Examinations Dr. Naveen Sharma and other SGVU members.

The atmosphere throughout the ceremony was one of unity, optimism, and hope. Attendees were filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation for the future, as they witnessed the beginning of a new era for IQAC at SGVU. This solemn moment was accompanied by a powerful address of Hon'ble Chairman Sir to the Team IQAC, outlining their vision of quality education and commitment to serving all the stakeholders of the Suresh Gyan Vihar University. The venue was adorned with elegant decorations, creating an ambiance of grandeur and celebration. The new IQAC office embraces dedicated cabins and chambers for the Team IQAC with open layout, promoting collaboration, communication, and teamwork equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and tools to maintain safety and security while depicting modern interior design aesthetics. The inauguration ceremony was a resounding success, capturing the essence of a significant milestone in SGVU's history. It brought together distinguished guests, showcased IQAC's commitment for quality, and set the stage for a promising future.

It also helps institutions in preparing for the accreditation process conducted by NAAC. IQAC conducts internal quality audits, collects and analyzes feedback from stakeholders, and assists institutions in developing quality improvement plans. It promotes the use of technology for effective governance and quality monitoring. IQAC also organizes workshops, seminars, and training programs to build capacity and awareness among faculty, staff, and students. Overall, IQAC acts as a catalyst for transforming higher education institutions into centers of excellence. It ensures that institutions are accountable, transparent, and committed to providing quality education and holistic development to students. By focusing on continuous improvement and quality enhancement, IQAC contributes significantly to the overall growth and development of the Indian higher education system.
