A three days’ agricultural fest ‘Agri-Expo 2021’ was organized by students and faculty of the School of Agriculture. The event included a technical exhibition, sports meet, and cultural program on 10th, 12th, and 13th March 2021, respectively.
The poster for the fest was released by Hon’ble Provost Dr. A. K. Pandey on 3rd March 2021. The technical day started with the inauguration by the Sarpanch of the adopted village Kacholiya. Farmers from other villages also interacted with students on their projects.
On day 1st, more than 50 projects were displayed by the students as teamwork on different recent agricultural technologies. Competitions were also held on seedbed preparation, hoeing, ploughing, agriculture photography, quiz, farmer interaction, and elocution which were judged by a team of faculty. On day 2nd different games viz. Cricket, Kabadi, Volleyball, Gully Cricket, and Table Tennis between colleges and Universities were arranged.
