Ecosystem for Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Young Entrepreneurs

Ecosystem for Innovation and Entrepreneurship has the objective of promoting innovations and entrepreneurship. It was established in the year 2017 to promote innovations in the University. It is the IIC (Institution Innovation Council) of the University. Following activities are undertaken to foster innovation and entrepreneurship.

• Talk by Entrepreneur (s).
• Talk by Innovator (s).
• Group discussion and brainstorming sessions.
• Training programs and workshops on entrepreneurship and innovation.
• Training programs for faculty members so that they can promote innovations and entrepreneurship.
• Corporate training programs.
• Mentoring startups and innovators.
• Guidance to students about entrepreneurship.

EIE conducts entrepreneurship training programs for students from all the departments and schools. EIE promotes initiatives to foster innovations and entrepreneurship.

Some of the achievements of EIE are as follows:

• Courses on Entrepreneurship are being taught in different schools to foster innovation and entrepreneurship
• A national seminar (sponsored by DST, Government of Rajasthan) was organized to discuss innovations and entrepreneurship in the field of agriculture.
• Students clubs and forums are supported and guided in the field of entrepreneurship.
• Industrial visits are organized.
• Group discussions and brainstorming sessions are organized.
• Training program for other institutions to promote entrepreneurship education.
• Mentoring of startups and guidance to the students who want to establish their startups.

EIE has been conducting programs to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. It has recently conducted program for Kibabii University Kenya to train students in the formation of Entrepreneurship Cell. It has also conducted a program to train Faculty Members of Kibabii University in how to Drive Innovation and Entrepreneurship. A large number of students have been guided about how to start their Startup. EIE also supports the incubation center of the University, which has mentored over 10 startups. As an outcome of the initiatives of EIE, every student of Suresh Gyan Vihar University studies entrepreneurship as a subject and gets the option to start a startup. There are many voluntary groups to foster innovations and entrepreneurship in the University. The University nominates and supports its students for participation in B-Plan contents all over the country.
