The Republic Day celebration at Suresh Gyan Vihar University took place on January 26, 2024 10.00 AM onwards. It was marked by patriotic fervor, cultural performances, and inspirational speeches. The day commenced with the solemn ceremony of hoisting the national flag accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem. The tricolor unfurled gracefully, symbolizing the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in our Constitution.
Sivakami, a proud student, welcomed the gathering with warmth and enthusiasm. Her opening remarks set the tone for the patriotic festivities that followed.
Hon’ble President, Dr. Arunansu Haldar, addressed the audience, reflecting on the significance of Republic Day and emphasizing the values that unites us as a nation. Hon’ble Chief Mentor, Dr. Sudhanshu, shared motivational insights, encouraging everyone to contribute towards the progress and development of the nation. Hon’ble Chairman, Shri Sunil Sharmaji, delivered an inspirational speech, highlighting the achievements and challenges faced by our nation. His words encouraged the audience to strive for excellence and contribute to the betterment of society.
Among the cultural performances, Shashi and the talented group of singers enthralled the audience with a soul-stirring patriotic song. Nishtha and her team captivated the audience with a vibrant and culturally rich dance performance.
The Dean, Student Welfare, expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. She acknowledged the efforts of students, faculty, and staff in making the Republic Day celebration a memorable occasion.
