WHAT C3WR WILL DELIVER?
Being a research driven university, C3WR is expected to accelerate our past year scattered research and is dedicated to high quality research. Anthropogenic activities results in the changes in climate and environment. Global warming and climate change is not only an issue of the change in earth’s natural processes, but also a threat for human civilization as it affects the thin balancing threads of global natural processes, socioeconomic system, political system and civilization. Another worse part related to this problem is that lack of sufficient knowledge of climate change and its impacts inviting world nations in front of each other for example failure of the Copenhagen summit. The Centre will deal with the various means available for climate change mitigation, focusing on the relative strengths and weaknesses of various societal alternatives including ‘geo-engineering’ and transitioning to less carbon intensive energy sources. Now question is that what steps might most profitably be taken to avert dangerous anthropogenic interference with Earth's climate, and the ramifications if such steps are not taken.
