Members Of Academic Council

An Academic Council is the principal academic body of the University. It consists of the Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Principal & Deans of various colleges and two eminent Professors from outside the University.

Powers Of Academic Council

All the powers of coordination, general supervision over the academic policies of the university lies in the hands of Academic Council that includes the following:

The Academic Council takes care of the formation of academic policies for student & faculty members. Also suggestions for improvement in the performance of faculty members & students are given to the BOM.
The Academic Council also frames financial & administrative policies & recommends for approval of BOM. It suggests ways to upgrade the teaching, Research, Publication Consultancy & Project skills of the faculty. Regular meeting is held to monitor the previous performances and to decide about next assignments.
