Suresh Gyan Vihar University is committed to prepare its engineering and management graduates to be industry and corporate savvy and in the process it has developed its Training and Placement Cell to meet the challenges of the highly competitive business sector of the country and the world.

The Training and Placement cell is a well-established, comprehensive and dynamic department. It envisages arranging campus interviews with prestigious technology driven companies, so as to provide high profile jobs to the students. The institute also liaises with various companies of repute to arrange intensive summer training programmes for the students. Students are encouraged to take active part in various ongoing projects in the industrial and the corporate world. The cell is actively engaged in conducting and arranging seminars, symposiums, conferences, Industrial training besides holding lectures and discourses by renowned technocrats and HRD personnel.

The University respects and recognizes the expectations and requirements of the industries holding campus placement drives. The campus recruitment campaign provides a handy and versatile platform for industry-institute interaction.
The Placement Cell is continuously in touch with HR professionals of various Companies through personal one-to-one contacts, and by mails and mailers. It prepares presentations for different companies when inviting them for campus recruitment drives.

It is both the responsibility and obligation of the University to make all students aware of all off campus and ‘walk in’ vacancies, as well as the options available to them for further studies like M.E, M.Tech. or MBA. Once a month, the cell organizes seminars and group discussions for grooming students in order to prepare and help them to get through interviews in on and off campus recruitments. Student Counseling is another responsibility looked after by the Placement Cell.
