Placement Services
The management strives to maintain its uniqueness by initiating placement services to various corporate sectors. During the last academic year 74 campus interviews were held which is a record. Some of these companies were on the Fortune 500 listings. This is an ongoing and continuous work and the placement cell is busy throughout the year arranging for these campus interviews.
The University also releases placement brochures of different Departments and dispatches them various industries/companies that are planning on holding campus interviews.

Placement Procedure
The placement office sends placement invitation letters to the companies enclosing a brief summary about Gyan Vihar Universe. The company can visit the campus for a Pre-Placement talk either before the selection processes or can combine it with the final recruitment.
On receipt of information / confirmation, the placement office announces the requirements of the company through various notice boards of the institute, asking interested students to contact the placement manager. Subsequently the qualified resumes are forwarded to the company for further processing.
The company shortlists candidates that fit their job profiles from the application pool and sends the same to the Placement Office. A mutual convenient date is finalized for the selection processes.

The company is required to furnish the final list of students preferably on the same day, or as soon as possible, after completion of the selection process.
The offer letters need to be sent to the Placement Office for handing over to the students. Offer acceptances (from the students) received, will be sent to the company by the Placement Office.
The following facilities are made available to the students:
• Students are given coaching by experts to improve their skills required for placements like resume writing, communication skills, written tests, and group discussion, technical and personal interviews.
• Organizing Industrial Visits & training.
• Developing the Personality of the students for improving their employability.
• Counseling & Grooming the students for Placements.

Students Training and Placement Cell
A Student Training and Placement Cell, has been constituted with the student representative as well as faculty representative from various branches of Gyan Vihar Universe. It aims at making students as the part of planning, formatting and executing the day-to-day activities of Training and Placement. This makes them a part of the procedural set-up, which goes a long way in building their responsible character and helps hem to be good planners, confident individuals, promising leaders and better human beings.
