Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry:

The Pharmaceutical chemistry laboratories are meant to understand the clinical aspects of the drug molecules starting from the basic organic chemistry to drug design and synthesis of newer drugs. Students will be trained to identify, analyze qualitatively and quantitatively the various drug molecules. The instrumental lab of this department is well equipped with instruments like U.V. spectrophotometer, colorimeter, pH meter, conductivity meter, Karl fisher apparatus, ultracentrifuge, Digital balance chainametic balance. The pharmaceutical laboratory is meant to include the chemical aspects of drug molecules starting from basic organic chemistry to drug design and synthesis of newer drugs. Students will be trained to identify and extract newer chemicals and toxins from natural resources.
