Mr. Sunil Sharma, Chancellor of Suresh Gyan Vihar University, has been associated with the Institution from the moment of its inception in the year 2000. He has, to a very large extent, been responsible for nurturing and tending it from a point when Gyan Vihar Universe was only a School of Engineering and Technology to a full fledged, robust and a dynamic self financed independent University. A university that from its very inception has been creating waves, and promises to become one of the premier educational institutions of the country. A large part of the credit for creating this magnificent temple of technical education goes to Mr. Sunil Sharma’s dynamic leadership and his unquestionable ability as an able, honest and discerning administrator.
Mr. Sharma received his Bachelors degree in Commerce from Rajasthan University in 1984 and followed it up with a Degree in Law in 1987. He has over 20 years experience as a Legal Consultant. And for the last 15 years he has devoted a considerable amount of energy and almost all his time in the administration and running of various educational organizations covering the whole spectrum from the Under Graduate to the Post Graduate levels. Apart from being the Chairman of Gyan Vihar Universe, he is also the Vice President of Sahitya Sadawart Samiti and various important portfolios of several Non-Govermental educational organizations.
Despite the fact that the onerous task of running and administering a busy University takes up most of his time, he has not ignored his social obligations as a prominent and responsible citizen of the state of Rajasthan. Accordingly he also spares time and effort to work for various socio-political organizations of the state. He has emerged as an invaluable asset for being a rare resource person for value-based and ethical leadership. His predilection for writing and his voracious appetite reading and studying a variety of subjects has made him a virtual fountain of information covering a wide variety of topics ranging from History, Economics, Metaphysics and Indian Philosophy, and Indology.
