Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is a four years undergraduate program which can be started after 10+2 with minimum 50% marks. This course is designed to produce licensed and professional architects who are authorized to do private constructions and government constructions.

Architectural study includes the activity of designing models of building, preparing construction’s blueprint and other physical structure of any land and building. The increasing demand for constructing shopping malls, flyovers in cities and other commercial complexes can be fulfilled by the role of an architect

  • SKILLS – Analytical skills: Architects must understand the content of designs and the context in which they were created. For example, architects must understand the locations of mechanical systems and how those systems affect building operations.
  • Communication skills: Architects share their ideas, both in oral presentations and in writing, with clients, other architects, and workers who help prepare drawings. Many also give presentations to explain their ideas and designs.
  • Creativity: Architects design the overall look of houses, buildings, and other structures. Therefore, the final product should be attractive and functional.
  • Organizational skills: Architects often manage contracts. Therefore, they must keep records related to the details of a project, including total cost, materials used, and progress.
  • Technical skills: Architects need to use CADD technology to create plans as part of building information modeling (BIM).
  • Visualization skills: Architects must be able to envision how the parts of a structure relate to each other. They also must be able to visualize how the overall building will look once completed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective discussion skills

  • High quality of sketching and drawing skills
  • Exceptional design and able to translate ideas in paper
  • Capable to effectively combine electrical, mechanical, and structural fundamentals in their designs
  • Able to classify troubles as soon as they arise or before they arise and develop quick solutions to solve them
  • Capable to work in a team environment
  • Able to visualize the end results through all steps of the designing and building processes
  • Passionate architects tend to have a tremendous drive and work ethic
  • ability to see the big picture as well as giving attention to the smallest detail
  • The ability to mediate and administer a building contract fairly
