Lab Details Of SILS

We have started with few new labs along with the old ones. The summary of the same is as follows:

  • Advanced Macro Economics Lab

  • Language English Lab: We use software named as LOTUS, SRS. With the help of software, students learn about pronunciation, reading skills, writing skills, correct form of articulation.
  • Computer Application Lab: We use software named as Turbo C, NET BEANS, IDE. With the help of software, students learn about languages like HTML, CSS, Java Script, C, C++, Java, etc.
  • Elementary Computer Lab: We use software named as MS Office, MS DOS. With the help of software, students learn about resume making, presentation making skills, usage EXCEL Sheet, Spread sheets, etc.
  • Macro Economics Lab: In the elementary level, students learn about writing skills of a research paper on Macro Issues of the Economy. In later stage, they tabulate tables with the use of SPSS software.
  • Application of Micro Economics Principle Lab: In the elementary level, students learn about writing skills of a research paper on Micro Economic issues. In later stage, they tabulate tables with the use of SPSS software.
  • Advanced Macro Economics Lab: In the elementary level, students learn about writing skills of a research paper on Advanced Macro Economic issues. In later stage, they tabulate tables with the use of SPSS software.

Computer Application Lab

Project Office automation system aims at creating an application which will automate the processes in college office. Using this it is possible to keep a database of college information like information about the students studying in various courses, employee information in various departments, staff and non staff details etc. Transaction involving fee and salary is also stored. Fees receipts are generated for students. Reports are maintained for future usage. Search engine is used to search required information.
