M Tech Geoinformatics

The key focus of C3WR is education and research in the field of Geoinformatics in which technology and applications of Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS will be imparted at various levels (decision-making level to working level / fresh postgraduate level). The centre offers M Tech in Geoinformatics in Jaipur. The proposed courses provide better understanding about Geoinformatics and its applications. The Master’s programmes develop students’ skills in several fields, such as remote sensing, GIS, methods for modeling, exploratory data analysis and visualization with a focus on Earth, environmental sciences, and climate change. The M Tech in Geoinformatics in Jaipur emphasize the potential of data acquisition from remotely sensed images to gis courses that may be used as an interdisciplinary approach to spatial decision-making and problem-solving. Teaching emphasizes both hands-on experience and the exploration of fundamental concepts and methods of Geoinformatics and is linked to research undertaken at the centre. Outreach activities, internships, and research collaborations ensure our students gain insights into real-world problems and applications leading to enhanced opportunities for a better carrier in the field of Geoinformatics. M Tech remote sensing is an emerging field and has vast application potential for resource development, planning, and management.
