Principal's Message

Declared objectives for promotion of education (general, technical and professional) research, training, social welfare, new technologies and according to the best & latest emerging trends. The college emphasizes the pursuit of high ideals mainly excellence in teaching and learning, high achievement levels, all-round development of personality, self-reliance, innovation, and introduction of new technologies, besides ensuring professional growth of future teachers and teacher- educators. Gyan Vihar School of education under the affiliation of Suresh Gyan Vihar University offers following programs which are recognized by NCTE: Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) - Two year degree program contains four semesters. Master of Education (M.Ed.) - Two year degree program contains four semesters and Ph.D. (Education) programme as per the new norms of UGC-2009. The faculty and management possess a high degree of integrity and knowledge for running courses in the University that churns the teacher trainees and teacher educators into efficient and effective human beings. So on the campus "We nurture talent" to prepare them professionally competent teacher trainees in tune with the latest trends in the field of teaching-learning. The department designs indigenous curriculum seeking guideline from NCTE and UGC models for the teacher education. An eclectic strategy is espoused using traditional as well as novel innovative teaching learning methods aided with technology, to maintain high benchmarks.

The students are provided with a mandatory curricular input to enhance employment prospects and attempt for competitive exams. Strategies promote creative divergent thinking and simultaneously focus on the holistic development of the prospective teacher as a trainee. The Department follows the recognized evaluation system. The Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) of grading and evaluation at UG, PG and Doctorate level of educational Programs.
