Introduction

Who we are - Gyan Vihar School of Pharmacy was established in the year 2003, with an objective to prepare professionally competent manpower in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The School has the mandatory infrastructure and approvals from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). This is the pioneer School in the Rajasthan State.

Our programs - The School offers the various courses like B.Pharm. (since 2003), M.Pharm. (2008-2014) (Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacology, QA) and Ph.D. (since 2008) programme. The courses offer exhaustive exposure to various practical aspects of the research methodologies, instrumental techniques, emerging areas and industrial operations.

Our faculty - The School has highly qualified faculty members having expertise in their respective areas. Interaction & collaboration with other National & International Universities & Institutions further makes students and faculty members update their knowledge. The faculty of the School is actively involved in research activities. Our faculties have extensive experience in industry, research as well as teaching. Our strength is a reflection of their skills, innovation and drive. Our staff members typically have a high sense of purpose and derive great meaning from working together to ensure Schools' academic and research excellence is well supported. The faculty members have been invited to deliver invited talks in various conferences. Faculty members and research scholars have published more than 100 International and 120 National papers in various Reputed Journals. Research activities are focused on Novel drug delivery, Gastro-retentive drug delivery, Colon targeted drug delivery, Herbal technology, Vaccine delivery and Ethno-Pharmacological studies etc.

Our Resources - The School have well established Laboratory with sophisticated instruments like HPLC, UV, FTIR etc. and software based on molecular modeling. School have well managed medicinal plants garden, CPCSEA approved animal house, well established libraries with online databases of repute such as DELNET/ INFLIBNET. School has organized a number of National level Seminars and Workshops on recent advances in Pharmaceutical Education and research. Passed out students are well placed at International and National Organizations. More than 10 students are also working in Government drug control administration Department at central and state level.
